This target is meant for low power CO2, pump pistols, Crosman 1701P, etc. that make just a couple foot pounds of energy. Yes, I'm sure a .22LR or even a 1000fps pellet gun would shoot straight thru it. I use a 1701P and it hasn't damaged it a bit.
